Not only is he original and wonderful, he reminds us all that it is never to late to give up on our dreams. I love him bringing back the blues and jazz but making it cool and fresh. You may not know this about him and I hope it doesn't sway your perception about him. His father is from Iraq and a lot of people (media) were buzzing that it mattered. That's bullshit, the man was born in Michigan and last time I checked, that kinda made him American right? I think it is nonsense and shouldn't even come into play, it makes no difference and it's just plain ignorant. Please educate yourself before slamming people. I swear Americans love to grab their shovels and dig up the dumbest bullshit on people. It's ridiculous. Teach tolerance and peace. Back to Laith, I love his sound, his quirky attitude and huge smile hidden by that beard we have all come to know and love. I actually visited Nashville A few times and have heard him play in person. His heat is huge and his voice is amazing. Laith all the way for me.
